I was a navy brat.
Born in South Carolina and swiftly moved to the west coast and then Hawaii. Around 2013, moved back to the mainland and hopped up and down the west coast until I landed in central OR's beautiful high desert / Santiam Pass.
California and Hawaii were both very rich in natural beauty but other aspects of those places didn't endear me to them and I don't miss living there. Even Oregon has its issues but I'm blessed to live where I do. I'll end up in a flyover state someday, far, far away from a big city.
